Susan Wright
Susan Wright, originally from Chesapeake, VA, moved to Northern Virginia in 1993. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in History and in Graphic Design. She has worked at a variety of jobs, including watch repair, and as an administrative assistant for 20 years. In 2018 switched to the Accounting field and has been working in the Finance department of a mid-size tech company since that time.
Susan has a passion for music and has sung in a variety of choruses since 1986, including jazz, Renaissance, barbershop, and pops genres. She currently sings with the Alexandria Singers, the local pops ensemble of 70 members. During the pandemic, this group has produced several virtual ensemble pieces and collected individual acts video-recorded by the members into virtual shows. In one of these shows in October 2020, Susan made her public debut as a soloist. She also enjoys learning piano and going to karaoke nights. In fact, she met her boyfriend at a karaoke night in Old Town Alexandria in 2013.
Susan has been actively pursuing her growth with the Metaphysical Church since 2015, though she has always been interested in spirituality and crystal energy in particular. She has pursued a personal study in the field of Crystals and is excited to present a course to help others get excited about this tool to connect with spirit.
She has worked on numerous missing and murder cases and was contacted by A&E’s Psychic Investigators about her work on locating Julie Loves body with the GBI in 1989. From being known as the “Psychic of Dunwoody” in 2001 in Points North Magazine called:” “The Ghosts of Dunwoody “where she accurately describes the former residents of the seventh most haunted house in Georgia to “DeKalb County Buys House in Ghostly Condition” in the AJC on February 26, 2006, over the past thirty years she has appeared in over 168 articles.
